Privacy at The Nest

What The Nest is

The Nest is a high-support space for people with special needs in St. Petersburg, Florida. Families and hosts book a small, capacity-limited room for gatherings, workshops, and day holds. Weekday evenings, we provide staff to supervise children as a means of providing respite care for those children’s parents. We collect only what information, and no child or caregiver’s name (only the email address that creates the account) are stored. This is the minimal information that we need to run our booking site, keep a hold on a slot, and take payment.

Cookies and consent

A first-visit banner asks you to choose. You can change that later from Cookie settings in the footer.

• Essential. Sign-in and booking holds use session cookies so your account and reserved slot keep working. These stay on if you choose Reject analytics.
• Analytics (optional). Measurement and Google Ads tags stay off until you choose Accept analytics. Reject analytics leaves them off. Consent Mode defaults stay denied until you accept.

Your choice is stored in this browser so we do not ask again until you reopen Cookie settings. Live Google tag IDs are not stored in this repo.

Accounts and booking data

If you create an account, we store the email and password hash through Supabase Auth, plus booking and hold records needed to reserve a slot (times, status, and related IDs). We use that to sign you in, show your account, and keep capacity honest. We do not sell this information. Live Auth keys are not stored in this repo.

Payments

Bookings are confirmed through Stripe Checkout. Stripe processes the card or wallet payment. The Nest does not store full card numbers on this site. Stripe receives what it needs to take payment and send you a receipt. See Stripe’s own privacy notice for how they handle payment data. Live Stripe secrets are not stored in this repo.
